Inspirationally my YellowBellyStudios productions are rather eccentric and eclectic. I love jah music, The Blues, I love bluegrass music and the classics, if its sound and rhythmic its for me. Plus techno/house/dubstep is an artists dream in sound. The beats can be so dynamic that the whole experience of music is filtered through an underground circuit and out the speakers unlike the music that I and so many cherish, the psychedic '60s. But it is no less an awesome art, its a new sound, and Its a grand ole time figuring it out, jamming on the recordings... DJatal plays these songs all at once and in the lyrical songs, the overdubs are first-takes, not hiding mistakes... i play this music for fun and am not a perfectionist when it comes down to it. so i do not consider myself a highly technical musician, but more of a sound technoregulator. Its all about tripping out on my own scene. No direction but where the sounds take the music: an independent experimentalist seeks only to harness the creative potential abound.. Thats the idea behind these recordings. They are not rehearsed, while lyric driven songs were sketched out and perhaps chord progressions written during a previous YBS session, the lyricless and perhaps hapless digital arrangements are completely spontaneous and interactive.
Basically this is what I have to memoir my moments where I travel in my mind.
I'm an instrumentalist, an intuitive musician, and self-taught, hobbyist who enjoys music making both on the acoustic and digital sides of the spectrum. My music contains a plethora of sound ranging from whaling synth voices to turntables and comedy to acoustic guitar. The sound also features a few dj effect digital instruments that provide both some grooves in the music and head chopping solo kaos. Safety-Goggles appreciated...
